My short story is going to be published!

I have already written about this on social media, but I wanted to update my blog readers as well. These are exciting news!

Through a collaboration that started on Facebook among Swedish writers of historical fiction, a short story I wrote in Swedish, “Holy Reverence,” is going to be published! It will be released this fall as part of an anthology of around 16 or 17 historical short stories with the theme “Life, Love and Death.” A little more than half of them take place in the 19th century or later. Mine takes place in the 6th century AD in the Byzantine Empire. It’s a short story of less than 4,000 words.

If you know Swedish – keep your eyes open, and buy this book when it is released this fall. If you don’t – no worries. As long as you are signed up to my email list and receive my chapters as I rewrite my book to English, you will also receive a free translation to English of the short story, on the same day it is released in Sweden.

However – sign up now, not later. My email list will be closed and shut down on June 30th 2019. I will not allow new subscribers after that date. Why? Because my subscribers receive too much free stuff, and if I ever want to be able to sell the stuff I write, I can’t keep it open and free to everyone forever.
