Need someone who can move naturally between Hebrew and English in front of a live audience?
Tuvia offers live translation for churches, ministries, conferences, and other events in Israel, helping speakers communicate clearly and naturally across the language barrier. He works primarily between Hebrew and English, in either direction, and can also offer Swedish for selected events.
Good live translation is about more than finding the right words. It means following the speaker’s meaning, tone, humor, emphasis, and pace — and communicating them naturally to another audience.
Tuvia has years of experience translating Hebrew sermons into English at his congregation in Jerusalem, working alongside the speaker in consecutive translation. He has also provided simultaneous Hebrew–English translation for the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) during its Feast of Tabernacles celebrations.
His background in the Bible, Jewish history, modern Israel, and Christian theology makes him especially comfortable translating for churches, ministries, Bible teachers, and Christian organizations working in Israel. He is fluent not only in Hebrew and English, but also in the specialized vocabulary of Christian ministry and biblical teaching — navigating naturally between terms such as salvation, fellowship, anointing, sovereignty, discipleship, atonement, and redemption without interrupting the flow of the speaker.
In other words, Tuvia speaks “Christianese” in both Hebrew and English.
Live translation may be available for:
- Sermons and church services
- Conferences and ministry events
- Lectures and presentations
- Interviews and panel discussions
- Visiting speakers and delegations
Both consecutive and simultaneous translation can be discussed depending on the event, its length, and the available technical setup.
