I have been sick with the flu for a number of days. Fever getting as high as 40 degrees celsius at its peak. It’s very annoying. A lot of free time, but no energy to do anything.
Almost.
Despite my fever, I have rewritten and finished chapter 3 and 4. They will be sent out this Friday. Now, a few words about the cliffhangers:
Chapter 2 ended in kind of a cliffhanger about the main character Judith. It will be resolved only in chapter 7. Chapter 3 follows the other main character, Menachem, on the day after and will end in an even bigger cliffhanger. For that to be resolved you will wait until chapter 9.
Mwahaha.
Chapter 4 will introduce a third main character – the date farmer Daniel from Jericho. That chapter will be calmer and less bloody than previous ones. And who doesn’t love the desert around the Dead Sea?
In over a week from now, in chapter 5 and onwards, you will get to know the 4th and last main character – the Roman soldier Servius.
