Birthday, Half marathon and chapter 7-8

Yesterday chapter 7 and 8 were sent to my mailing list. A few cliffhangers sorted out, and you get to know Daniel and his wife Naamah a bit better. I feel a bit bad about these chapters being so short, but hey. That’s why there are 103 chapters. I hope to get chapter 9 and 10 ready for next weekend, but no promises.

Today is my 37th birthday. When I started to write this book in 2015, my goal was to be a published author before I hit 40. I still think I can make it… we will see. These things take time.

Another thing that takes time is the marathon training which I also started in 2015. I want to be a marathon runner before I turn 40. The Jerusalem marathon was yesterday, and I ran the half marathon. Will this year (from now until next Jerusalem marathon) be the year I train myself up to a full marathon or not? No idea. Time will tell. For now I am just happy that I was able to complete the half marathon in the decent time of 02:10:36 without ever stopping. Switching to fast walking a few times, sure. But I didn’t stop. This is after being sick with flu just a couple of weeks before, which seriously harmed my ability to train properly.

That’s a 4th medal to the collection. Two half marathons and two 5k runs. Wohoo!
