I received some very good feedback on chapter 7 and felt compelled do make a few changes. They are not huge, but they are a bit major, and they will impact future chapters.
As you know, changes I make will go into my final, hopefully some day published, version, but will not be re-released to my mailing list readers. This is why I feel I must inform you of it.
Servius is now injured in chapter 7. Not severly, and not very bad, but bad enough to make one arm temporarily useless during chapter 7 and for a few days afterwards. Why? Because that’s the only way to explain why such an experienced soldier was that lousy. I don’t want to say more, as I need to avoid spoilers, but those of you who have read chapter 7 hopefully know what I’m talking about.
I also added information that he noticed that his opponent was more experienced than one might think at a first glance. How that’s possible and why will be revealed in later chapters.
His arm will heal in a few days – in chapter 14 he needs to be ready for the battle of Gamla.
